Although it wasn’t the all black, or the all black with red numbers like I had originally hoped for. I am still quite happy with my new watch. It is a Nixon 51-30 and it is quite large to say the least. Despite that though I love it and look forward to enjoying it for many years to come.

I think that might be my new thing, collecting watches.

The first one I tried out was Twitterator:

I really like this app so far. I was using Twitterrific for the longest time but I didn’t like the amount of keyboard lag I was getting every once in a while. Another thing I enjoy in Twitterlator over Twitterrific is that Twitterlator does not have any ads in it.

Another great feature of Twitterlator is the ability to sort Tweets. You can do it by Friend’s Tweets, My Tweets, My Replies, Everyone’s Tweets, and Featured Tweets.

All in all the interface runs smooth and I would definitley recomend it you anyone. Another plus is it’s free from the App Store. Check it out.

The second app I’ve tried out is the Qik App:

First off I’ll explain what Qik is. Qik is an online video service where if you have the client installed on your mobile device you can transmit like video and audio to the net. The official iPhone app has not been released yet but if you have a jailbroken phone you can install it from Cydia.

The Qik app is very simple to use. Once you enter in your account information (or sign up form the app itself) you can be streaming to the next instantly. The picture and sound quality will vary depending on the phone you have but for the most part the iPhone’s quality isn’t terrible.

I think this is a great alternative to having an app that nativity stores the video on the phone. It makes it much easier to share videos with others and doesn’t hog a lot of room for those with limited space on their phones. Definitely worth checking out.
