Update on my car, and me

So I seem to have the worst luck ever with everything lately. I’ve been terribly forgetful and a couple weeks ago I could into another trafic accident. Which is super! At least I have my flight booked for Greece and all is good.

C’est la vie.

Now with…

100% more Mac Pro!

I build PC’s for work and as a hobby but I have to say this is the nicest piece of hardware I have laid my eyes on. Everything is modular and clean and well thought out. I can’t get over it. Hurray for new toys!

Wowy

So in my daily reading of Digg I came across something I thought was awesome. Since Nine Inch Nail no longer has a contract with a record company their upload their latest set of acoustic tracks to major bit torrent sites such as the The Pirate bay. In the description of the torrent they had this to say:

Hello from Nine Inch Nails.

We’re very proud to present a new collection of instrumental music, Ghosts I-IV. Almost two hours of music recorded over an intense ten week period last fall, Ghosts I-IV sprawls Nine Inch Nails across a variety of new terrain.

Now that we’re no longer constrained by a record label, we’ve decided to personally upload Ghosts I, the first of the four volumes, to various torrent sites, because we believe BitTorrent is a revolutionary digital distribution method, and we believe in finding ways to utilize new technologies instead of fighting them.

We encourage you to share the music of Ghosts I with your friends, post it on your website, play it on your podcast, use it for video projects, etc. It’s licensed for all non-commercial use under Creative Commons.

We’ve also made a 40 page PDF book to accompany the album. If you’d like to download it for free, visit http://ghosts.nin.com/main/pdf

Ghosts I is the first part of the 36 track collection Ghosts I-IV. Undoubtedly you’ll be able to find the complete collection on the same torrent network you found this file, but if you’re interested in the release, we encourage you to check it out at ghosts.nin.com, where the complete Ghosts I-IV is available directly from us in a variety of DRM-free digital formats, including FLAC lossless, for only $5. You can also order it on CD, or as a deluxe package with multitrack audio files, high definition audio on Blu-ray disc, and a large hard-bound book.

We genuinely appreciate your support, and hope you enjoy the new music. Thanks for listening.

The countdown has started!

Road Trip!

So tomorrow I’m going to Moncton with Ashley, Jenna, and Rose. ROAD TRIP BITCHES. I love having a car that’s good on gas, takes me a whole $2.30 (Not really but it’s a very low low coast). With Moncton comes delicious Montana’s! I’ll take some pictures for hilarity!

Cheers,

Alex

P.s. I totally updated the picture of my car down below. I felt my iPhone pictures didn’t do justice.

So!

It’s been quite some time since I’ve been able to post anything since my site when down a long long time ago. How long ago I can’t quite remember. Something went wrong and I lost all my old posts which is kinda the pits. By kinda I mean it totally is the pits. Not much can be done about it now so I won’t worry too much about it.

In some interesting new I am the proud owner of an iPhone. Which is harder then it sounds considering I live in Canada, and I have to have the phone on Rogers (boo-urns). After about an hour and a half to go through the unlock process I had a working phone which is hella sweet. No matter where you go though people always want to see and it play with it. I hear the phrase “I want one” far too often. Most people want one but don’t want to pony up the cash to do so.

Living in Fredericton for the past months have been very boring to say the least. If you’re not the party/going out type then there really isn’t much here for you to do; by you, I mean me. So most nights I’m either working, or… working. Which is basically all I do everyday except a few morning and weekends. That is one thing I have it better here in regards to, weekends off. Haven’t had that in a long time!

Today I spent the morning playing guitar hero 3 with Danielle. Needless to say she is much better then me. However I think there is something wrong with the guitar. I could be totally wrong however and just suck at the game and am trying to convince myself otherwise by making excuses!

That’s all the interesting things I have to say today (or probably not interesting at all)
